About Me

My name is Danny Oosterwijk, I am a game programmer that is currently doing a study in game development at Breda University of applied Sciences. Before this study, I did another game development study at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. because of my 2 studies I have experience working with Unity C#, C++, and Unreal engine.

While programming I like to try out new things to broaden my horizons, and find something to specialize in.

When I am not programming or gaming I like to read Books, play Dungeons & Dragons, play card games, or do physical activities like jogging.

Hop aboard Ornament Express, a Virtual Reality puzzle game, where you take the role of a Private Investigator in the 1900's in Switzerland. You've been hired by your client after a crime streak saw his valuable curios stolen. The trail this eccentric thief left behind leads you to a train, filled with stolen artefacts and mysterious items.

Personal Unity Project: VR RPG System

Still in the early stages of the project. currently, I am working on a pet mechanic which uses voice recognition to command pets to fight enemies for the player

Adira: Archer Princess

Adira: Archer Princess is a fast-paced 3rd-person momentum-based navigation game, where you as a master archer are trying to get to the castle as fast as possible, to rescue your captured brother, while dealing with manipulated city protectors keeping you away.

Navigate through the city using your slide and wall running abilities, and fight off enemies with your trusty bow.

Metroidvania engine

Metroidvania engine is an engine I made together with 2 other programmers during my second year at Breda university of applied sciences. I worked on this project as an engine programmer while the other 2 worked as gameplay and graphics programmers.

Folivora's Fall

Folivora's Fall is a 2,5D stealth, puzzle, platform game in which you play as a sloth trying to escape a haunted mansion trying to not be spotted by the animal ghosts.
